PERCUSSIVE MUSCLE THERAPY

Thai-yoga-massage-manuscript.jpeg

Percussive therapy is a type of massage technique that applies rapid, repetitive pressure on areas and muscular force transmission lines in the body.

The primary tool used to deliver this treatment is the massage gun, which helps to release tight fascia—the primary culprits for back and shoulder pain.

When the massage gun is applied, the massage head pounds away rhythmically at the targeted musculature or fascial region.

By “punching” the sore muscles, it stimulates the nerve receptors and desensitises the area—thus reducing pain.

This technique reaches deeper than foam rollers or human hands, which is great for those who have tight, tense knots deep within the layers of muscles and fascia.

Through precise anatomical knowledge of the human musculature system coupled with the right amount of pressure and directional glide, this treatment can be used as a great add on to classical ATSI fascia therapy sessions or be taken as single sessions and packages.

Facial Percussion Skin & Musculature Therapy

Facial percussion therapy is applied by using multiple techniques.

First is through classic percussion therapy to loosen tight muscles and allow the tissue to open up the fascial web.

Second we apply Infra red or UV light depending on the desired result. Micro abrasion, electrical micro current, heat and cold applications are adapted to cleanse, strengthen and tone the skin and underlying tissue structures.
